Still tameable but still a pain in the backside to do and still not worth it.

If you're looking for a practical pet to hunt on or KO dino's on, then give it a miss.

I'm sure it'll get a rework soon. :)

How hard is it actually to tame on of those and whats the difficult thing about it? getting it knocked out in the first place or keeping it knocked out? Kinda want one just to look at it :D

Well to start, you cannot knock it out.
It has to be tamed passively like the Monkey, Bigfoot and Itchy.

Unfortunately, the Araneo is aggressive and the only way to get near it without it attacking you is to use Bug Repellent which can be costly to make and only lasts 10 minutes.
The Araneo has no kibble and is most effectively tamed using Spoiled Meat.

It can take a while and if it bumps into you or attacks something else, it ruins the tame a bit.
Building a wall around it doesn't always work because if it does agro you, it will forever attack your walls and never calm down.

Generally tedious.

What iam wondering now is though, can i lure it out of a cave and grab it with a bird without it counting as aggro´d on the bird? (When the person flying+me has bug repellent).
