Biomes are cool and all, but can we get some geographical separation for things that look counter-intuitive side by side?
For example, a mountain range fencing off the northwestern quadrant of the island and some foothills actually descending into the swamp.
Brown grass would fix most of it. The palms and bushes can stay green, because they probably would be IRL anyway. XD
I think it might actually be interesting if they added seasonal changes to the island as a whole to expand on the survival mechanic.
I'm not going to touch mods until this game goes full-release and updates less frequently, no matter how delectable the options might be.
Can this problem be solved through mods? I have no doubt. I'd still rather fix this through the official channel if at all possible. If not, I'll have to live with orange/yellow leaves for a while.
...wait 'til spring?
sorry could not resist :)
I would find this more believable if the special fall weather hadn't already been reverted. :P
They DID, for a while during the event. Nights were longer and temps were lower across the board. Then they changed the weather template back to normal (as far as I can tell) and left the trees as-is.
+1; not looking forward to winter wonderland.
Me Neither. I don't like having to wear sunglasses to look at my screen.
