Any advice on getting the trees back to green?
While the autumn leaves were nice and novel for the event, they look horribly out of place next to tropical plants on the beach. I've tried disabling (through renaming) and moving the folder labeled "Seasonal" under environment, but when I do that my game crashes as it loads.

Can I please have the standard green foliage back somehow?

I beleave that it is set in the game due to the fact that it is Fall and the trees are going to look like that. but that is just a guess.

I agree, and was wondering also if this is left intentionally, or if is it a bug ?

If that is so (I'd love some official confirmation of this...) all I have to say is "blech." It sticks out like a sore thumb the same way the snow biome currently does, what with sarcos swimming in frigid water and jungle instantly transforming into frozen plains.

Biomes are cool and all, but can we get some geographical separation for things that look counter-intuitive side by side?

For example, a mountain range fencing off the northwestern quadrant of the island and some foothills actually descending into the swamp.

Whole game needs a reskin to look OK for fall. As it is now, it just looks odd.
Brown grass would fix most of it. The palms and bushes can stay green, because they probably would be IRL anyway. XD

Scotts Turf Builder Plus, and Tree Builder Advanced, will have your lawn and your trees looking as green as a pint of beer on St. Patrick's day

Yep. It's the same sort of problem I had with Skyrim back in the day, but at least with Skyrim there was less disparity.

I think it might actually be interesting if they added seasonal changes to the island as a whole to expand on the survival mechanic.

I'm not going to touch mods until this game goes full-release and updates less frequently, no matter how delectable the options might be.

Can this problem be solved through mods? I have no doubt. I'd still rather fix this through the official channel if at all possible. If not, I'll have to live with orange/yellow leaves for a while.

"Any advice on getting the trees back to green?"

...wait 'til spring?

sorry could not resist :)
They should've made it colder everywhere if they were going to add the fall leaves on the trees.

I would find this more believable if the special fall weather hadn't already been reverted. :P

They DID, for a while during the event. Nights were longer and temps were lower across the board. Then they changed the weather template back to normal (as far as I can tell) and left the trees as-is.

Going to keep necroing the myriad of threads on this issue since they didn't learn from last year and we shouldn't have to keep waiting to get our game performance back because they are too lazy to hot fix the trees out.

They should release the events as a mod on non-official to allow players to opt in or out.

Me Neither. I don't like having to wear sunglasses to look at my screen.
