Giganotosaurus spawns not rare, but broken.

It has almost been a week and still not a single Giganotosaurus has spawned on official server 2, and I'm tired that threads keep just calling it rare because it's some op Dino, we are thoroughly convinced that the spawns are broken on our server. And yes, we already wiped all the spawns multiple times to try to force one out, and we have all the tribes looking for one, but still jack squat. So stop telling me that the spawns are just rare...no, the are freaking broken and official server 2 will never be fixed because of it.




Ps. Yes I'm salty, but You would be too after spending 56 hours trying to get the damn thing to spawn.

From what I gather, their spawns may be getting blocked by bases. How populated is your server? You have alot of bases on the mountains?

Spawns might be broken yeah or blocked because I play on an unofficial server with no increased spawn rates and they spawn pretty often.

You guys know the locations of the possible blockage? But anyway, it's stupid because it feels like the spawns are just pinpointed into one area, instead of around it like the other spawns. So any ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ griefer can place a single foundation and ruin the spawn

Nope, it is just rare, My tribe (servers Alpha tribe) of 10 members has yet to see a wild one, but we know and have seen 2 owned by other tribes on the server. it IS just a rare spawn.

Check the snow biome, I found it there on my first time going there. And (while looking North), check the mountain to the right of the volcano. Found one there on my first pass.

there have been spottings on herbivore island, no longer herbivore island now, needs renamed

It has 6 unique spawn locations. Volcano, far east mountain, the 2 mountains W/SW of the hidden lake, the valley between those 2 mountains and the entire snow biome. The thing is rare, like 10x more rare than alpha rexes. My tribe has tamed each and every one that has spawned on our server (grand total of 3) and have a baby giga (maturing rates are beyond stupid on these things) The first one we found shortly after the update, the other 2 we had to roam the spawn zones killing everything we could find for hours until they spawned.

They're super rare, but not broken spawns given their power. Honestly if they were more common I'd hate the fact that they were even in the game, they would restrict all movement in those zones to air only, lest you get caught out by one and lose your precious dinos.

the thing is that we have done everything that you have done, but for every single day since the update, 24/7 ( we always have someone on) This, isn't a matter of luck obviously anymore at that point.

i just tamed a level 35. ifind it in less then 2 min nothern east cost where the ice is beginning in the mountains.

ya, but are you on a official server? or have tribes that have just left clutter on the spawn points?

My base is on H.I., no sightings there, and I clear the island daily to feed my dinos. I would believe that one was dragged there by someone/something, but spawning there? Highly doubt it.
