Dire Wolf Baby
I have my first baby ever in this game, never thought it'd be something I would enjoy but I decided to try it now. Problem is I have not done much research on babies and now I have a newly born dire wolf. Have been feeding it by hand for maybe almost 10 minutes now I think. Am I doing it right just by dragging meat into its inventory when it goes below it's capacity? And how long may I have to do this for? Im on singleplayer so I can't just ask someone in the game. I do not have anything increased for gestation and growth. So far the baby has gone from being able to carry 0.5 to 1.07 and it's still rising.

A long time. You're probably looking at a mininmum of a few hours worth of work.

I know that everything goes into like a pause mode if I were to exit out of my game in single player. If I were to do this while I still have to hand feed the baby, would I be able to just continue it when I get back on? Wondering if anyone would know the answer to that because it is 1 AM and I can't stay up all night hand feeding it. I underestimated how long it may take.

10% of its weight limit is when it will turn juvenile. Let's say it has a 200 weight limit, once it hits 20, it'll feed from the troughs you place.

I will only breed reptiles for now...since breeding mammals is a pain in the butt for me.

I think so. I left some babies alone in SP, they lasted for a while.
