I would prefer Siats because Yutyrannus is rather small but of course it would likely have a different species name (meaning not meekerorum) I feel like the Arctodus will be the apex though.

The game is branded as a Dinosaur survival FPS. What is the geenral type of dino most people think of? Theropods. The simple fact we have 21 synapsids and 23 Dinos is a load of ♥♥♥♥. There should be more dinos, and not even be comparable to the ammount of mammals, most of which are a slightly larger version of a nromals pecies. After all, in the dossier we have no real size showing the Bear, it could be killed by either. They just made it OP as fanservice.

I Love Yutyrannus, but Siats could fill the role equally well. I am ok with either, so long as a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bear is not apex.

If we HAVE to have a snowy apex dino, Siats is the best bet as its already the right size and looks much more unique than Yutyrannus (who's body plan is pretty much a scaled down Tyrannosaurus with a thinner build, full feather covering assuming T.rex didn't have one, and slightly larger arms with a third finger). Siats by comparison was much larger and had a very different skull and arm set up.

Using Yutyrannus over Siats logically would be like saying "Hmmm we need a cold weather replacement for a lion, let's ignore the siberian tiger and used a hugely scaled up lynx."


Really though, I'd prefer we just remove the dinosaurs entirely from the tundra region and let it be ice age Plesitocene.

there were dino's that lived in cold climates (they were warm blooded after all) ,it would be kind of weird to take them out of it and just leave it to the mammals

It's not branded as a dinosaur FPS. It's branded as a sci-fi game with many prehistoric creatures. The developers have stated many times before this isn't just a dinosaur game. Why would you not want something like the dire bear to be the apex predator of the snow biome. Both the siats and the yut would be exactly the same as the Rex except for maybe the model, plus the Rex would probably still be stronger than either. I'm not objecting to having another cool theropod in the game, but just give the other creatures a chance. We have a safe amount of therapods, I don't think we need anymore

Both the siats and the yut would be exactly the same as the Rex except for maybe the model, plus the Rex would probably still be stronger than either. I'm not objecting to having another cool theropod in the game, but just give the other creatures a chance. We have a safe amount of therapods, I don't think we need anymore

we are also getting allosarus. Yet another therapod. To many therapods already. How many large trex like animals do you want? I want variety.
