Doedicurus auto collecting stone
So I don't know if it's one of the mods I have or a bug or a game feature, but I just learned today that the Doedicurus can auto collect stone that he is standing in front of. I was going to to collect some stone, parked him in front of a big rock, Jumped off him for a sec to do something, and then he just started hitting the rock by himself until it was destroyed.

Another thing I learned is that if you let him break the rocks himself and then you start hitting the same rock with a hatchet, you will cause the rock to break in seconds and all the resources that could have been mined from the rock are all in the Doedicurus, which makes mining rocks MUCH faster.

Again, this could be a Mod, but I don't remeber this being in any of the mods I have, and I have been playing with a few friends, and not one of them mentioned this. I am currently running:

Ita always done that. If you put it wander and let it roam it smash rocks till full

It is not a mod, its a feature. Doedi gathers stones when wandering mode is on. the same goes to the ape, it gathers fibers when auto is on. I believe there are other animals that can do that, but not the majority of the herbivores. Carnivors will auto collect hide and meat if on aggressive.

It's not a mod doing it. Generally people set it to wander so it finds more rocks to crush, but you can just park it next to a stone and it'll bust it up for you if you're not riding it.

He's not on wander though. Might be a bug then?

Same as many other auto collectors, if left ontop of said resource they will collect it untill nothing is in range anymore despite of wander settings. Normal behaviour for as far as i know.

I don't think it's specifically stated to only happen when wandering, it's just more useful in general to have it wandering.
