Giganotosaurus Spawns
Hey! So I have a few questions regarding the giganoto spawns. I have spent two days on an official pve server flying around the mountains trying to find a giga, but haven't had any luck. I am just wondering, how often does the giga spawn on the map? Does it spawn in like every few in-game days, like the dodorex, or does only 1 spawn in in one real day? I'm also guessing there can only be one giga spawned in at a time too. And does any one know the best places to find one? Would be nice to actually find one, really wanna tame one ;P

Well, I just flew around the map again and the suggested spots, but I still can't find any ;P

There's only been one tamed on this server, and that was last night. Nobody else has tamed one or is taming one atm...

You need to kill some dinos the game to my knowledge, saves the dinosaurs out of rendering distance. I would know being a week on my server and the one that killled me is still rampaging around the blue spire. The more u kill the higher the chances the dino u want will spawn. This also helps force newly added dinosaurs to spawn and in my case help farm for the rarer quetzal, and level up my battle rex.

dont know if its same for official servers but on my old unofficial one we only seemed to get 2 gigas spawned in at a time they spawn on mountains or in the snow biome but once spawned they seem to slowly move down the mountain and from there can wander anywhere depends where the spawns take them they can be surprisingly hard to spot if they head into a forested area

Yes they can be so be sure to make sure what ur looking at is indeed a t rex or a giga. Since from a distance and or obsured behind a tree they are terrifyingly similar and you can pass up on them if your scouting from the air bring a spy glass to id dinos effectively. I play on the xbox one version and so far this method of dino hunting to tame has yet to fail me.
