Code to spawn fertilized eggs?
Any cheat to spawn a fertilized egg on single player? Can you control the baby level?

Also, is there a way to spawn a baby animal at a certain level that can be imprinted?

Detailed example:
I've not given up my goal of a no-tame single player file. Thought of an idea. Instead of taming, the only way I'll get a pet is to find and kill a mate boosted pair. Upon killing them, I'll spawn an egg in my inventory as if I had "found" the nest.

This will major limit the availability of dinos, be much more difficult than just KO and tame ... And I'll have to actually raise anything I want to use! Put the fear back in me, since babies can be hard to raise.

Obviously I wouldn't be able to tame animals with no eggs/babies but I'll figure something out ...

You can't spawn a fertilized egg.

But if you're prepared to use cheats to do that why don't you just freeze all dinos using 'playersonly', then spawn in two dinos of a level you choose, when you have a male and female you forcetame them, then set them to wander. They won't move because you have 'playersonly' set. But the mating does not freeze. Then when the egg is dropped you can use destroymytarget to destroy the 2 tamed dinos. Then you have an egg. Albeit an orphan. :(

Why would it be a lvl 1 with a bad Torpor level?

cheat giveitem "Blueprint'/Game/PrimalEarth/Test/
PrimalItemConsumable_Egg_Quetz_Fertilized.PrimalItemConsumable_Egg_Quetz_Fertilized" 1 1 false

Technically you CAN spawn in a fertilized egg. What it does, I'm not sure. It may not work or do anything. I just dug through the editor to find it. Let me know if it works for you.

IF it does work, it probably produces wild results. I have no idea how it'd calculate the baby's level, colors, etc. for example.

An interesting suggestion GamerPerfection lol. A lot more trouble than I was hoping but a good option that will prolly work ...

Hey, thanks for the code Arche! I might just try for that. See what happens. I've never used commands before but I can try to give it a shot. I'm ok with random honestly.

How could I find the actual names for each animal?

Hmmm. You'd basically just have to dig around until you found all the egg names. You can append _Fertilized to any egg, and if it's part of the Ark Mating System, it'll spawn a fertilized egg. You can try some to see if it works, for example:

cheat giveitem "Blueprint'/Game/PrimalEarth/Test/
PrimalItemConsumable_Egg_Rex_Fertilized.PrimalItemConsumable_Egg_Rex_Fertilized" 1 1 false

That's a Fertilized Rex Egg. They're named pretty well so it's usually easy to guess.

This should help. Just scroll to the bottom and the dinos should be there.

You guys are the best! I'll give it a shot if I can this weekend. If anyone else tries it, feel free to post here about the results.

I just tried this:

giveitem "Blueprint'/Game/PrimalEarth/Test/PrimalItemConsumable_Egg_Dodo_Fertilized.PrimalItemConsumable_Egg_Dodo_Fertilized" 1 1 false

The result was that it spawned a fertilized Dodo egg in my inventory but it had zero health. So when it was placed on the floor it disappeared.

Thanks for the update.

I've got something I want to try. I think it'd be worth spawning it as a structure or spawning it in-game instead of giving it as an item. Maybe that's causing some issues.

I went through the editor too and found where the fertilized eggs are, but my knowledge goes about as far as that. I'm not really sure how to work out the command from the information given in the editor.

I think he is just trolling or doesn't understand mating.

Oh wow awesome to know. I look forward to hearing about spawning as a structure. Thank you both for giving it a shot!!

Forcetame the two dinos you want to mate
Wait for them to poop out an egg and fertilize it
Kill em both
Keep the egg.
