But if you're prepared to use cheats to do that why don't you just freeze all dinos using 'playersonly', then spawn in two dinos of a level you choose, when you have a male and female you forcetame them, then set them to wander. They won't move because you have 'playersonly' set. But the mating does not freeze. Then when the egg is dropped you can use destroymytarget to destroy the 2 tamed dinos. Then you have an egg. Albeit an orphan. :(
PrimalItemConsumable_Egg_Quetz_Fertilized.PrimalItemConsumable_Egg_Quetz_Fertilized" 1 1 false
Technically you CAN spawn in a fertilized egg. What it does, I'm not sure. It may not work or do anything. I just dug through the editor to find it. Let me know if it works for you.
IF it does work, it probably produces wild results. I have no idea how it'd calculate the baby's level, colors, etc. for example.
Hey, thanks for the code Arche! I might just try for that. See what happens. I've never used commands before but I can try to give it a shot. I'm ok with random honestly.
How could I find the actual names for each animal?
cheat giveitem "Blueprint'/Game/PrimalEarth/Test/
PrimalItemConsumable_Egg_Rex_Fertilized.PrimalItemConsumable_Egg_Rex_Fertilized" 1 1 false
That's a Fertilized Rex Egg. They're named pretty well so it's usually easy to guess.

giveitem "Blueprint'/Game/PrimalEarth/Test/PrimalItemConsumable_Egg_Dodo_Fertilized.PrimalItemConsumable_Egg_Dodo_Fertilized" 1 1 false
The result was that it spawned a fertilized Dodo egg in my inventory but it had zero health. So when it was placed on the floor it disappeared.
Thanks for the update.
I've got something I want to try. I think it'd be worth spawning it as a structure or spawning it in-game instead of giving it as an item. Maybe that's causing some issues.
I think he is just trolling or doesn't understand mating.
Wait for them to poop out an egg and fertilize it
Kill em both
Keep the egg.
Heh well I was trying to find a balanced way that adds challenge. But thanks ;)
