Can more then 1 Giganotosaurus be spawned at a time?

Im on an official PVE server. it serves no purpose other then a cool looking mount. im fine with the dumb kibble and difficult tame; Im not OK with the extreme rarity of the spawn. I was on at 6am EST yesterday and logged off at 1030pm EST and our server didn't see ONE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spawn of it. Its stupid no matter how you try to justify it.

Just because you're on a PVE server doesn't mean everyone is, and the spawn has to be balanced for EVERYONE. If they weren't extremely rare, no matter how hard they are to tame everyone would have one eventually.

Alright, first I saw two yesterday on my Server. They are on and around the mountains.

Secondly make sure your server is set to 1.0 dino count. Quetzals are still bugged where they will not spawn at less than 1.0. Giganotosaurus may also be experiencing this coding error.

First thank you both for addressing the question in my thread. Second: just because youre NOT on a PVE server doesn't mean the spawn has to be rare as ♥♥♥♥ for fear of everyone having the mount. Get over it.

The kibble is from a dino that is rare to begin with. So right off the bat theres a bottleneck in place. Secondly, the tame is difficult which further means most people wont get it. Thirdly, its a long and tedious tame which will put even more people off. Theres enough going for it to make it a challenge.

It doesn't need to be rare. All I get out of these whines are kids who want to be the only one on the server with a "unique" mount. Oh noes! 4 other people have the same mount as me! Im not the only cool kid!

There needs to be separate setups for PVP and PVE servers because they both do not serve the same purpose. I get the creature is very strong and on a PVP server, it would be problematic for the PVP top tribe to have a ton of this dino. But like you said: Im not on a PVP server and that's not MY problem. You cant have it both ways.

I currently have a level 12 and level 100 female giganto running near my base, the northern island is now getting more dangerous... Im actually leaving my guys armored up now...

This one is moving closer and closer, we are going to have to fight soon or I risk losing everything. Its been to long since I felt threatened on the ARK

Also if it has not been said already, cxheck the upper halves of mountains, they seem to spawn there frequently.

I think they should up the spawn rate for PVE as at the moment PVE is completely challengeless, and has no end game. Also I think you are misunderstanding people here, people want them to be rare in PVP so that tribe big d1ck mcnuggets doesn't get 50 of them and proceed to remove every other tribe from the server in a few hours.

Giga's should be extremely rare in PVP because it will get to the point where people have 10+ of them. You talk about Quetz being rare etc. but they aren't, some people have played the game for so long that they already have 10+ female Quetz spitting out eggs, more people than you think have hundreds of Quetz eggs, with 10s of thousands of narcotics that could mass tame these things. If that happened then the server they play on is dead if its PVP.

Giga's are so ridiculous that they could make the Broodmother, Dragon, King Kong and all Alphas tamable and the game would be in no worse situation than it is now lmao

Yes. The first Gigas I found were right together, a mate boosted lvl 112 and a low level one.

It most definitely needs to be rare. Not just because everyone would have one immediately then, but because it's a huge as crap dinosaur that demolishes everything.

But to be fair, as more and more dinos are released, more dinos will also be rare. The T-rex will be much rarer as well I assume, once we get coser to launch. This means that it wont be so odd that the Giga is rare as well.

The problem is, the purpose of PVE and PVP servers are completely different and as such, rules dictating the servers should be adjusted. Regardless of how OP the dino is, all of that serves nothing on a PVE server. It literally is just another cool looking mount. You cant trample people's bases, kill their dinos, etc.

You can increase the spawn rate of them on unofficial servers through server settings. If you're on official servers you just have to deal with the vanilla settings, sorry.

I am going to hope right now that your dinos had a good life. Nothing I have seen could ever kill a wild low level Giganotosaurus... Sacrifice a flyer if you have to lead it away but please don't fight one...
