Metal shield way too heavy
I was so excited when i saw the update today :)
The first thing I did was to learn the shield & sword and craft both in the metal version.

I equipped it and had to realize I was suddenly encumbered, so I checked the weight of the shield: 45 o.O

That is way too heavy! I mean, ok... we're talking about a game where men fight and tame dinosaurs... but 45?! Noone would want to wield a shield that is so damn heavy :D

Please adjust the weight of this shield and (as I read in other discussions) its durability.

PS: I could not test the riot shield, because my level is still to low. Is this one better and could tell me someone the stats?

Haha, seems about on par with every other update to the game these days.

Seems fairly average. Just stop carrying ten million things on you at all times.

45 units of weight is good for what it does :P i can now fight dilos without being blinded xD

It's a metal shield.

- It's not small.
- It's ... metal. Metal is not lightweight
- Stop carrying your house with you
- Shields are for combat, not wandering around getting resources

My carry weight is at 280. I was at my mountain house, carrying the rest of my metal with me :D

I tried out the shield at our home base and I can say: It's good against dilos and titanoboa ;) But I highly doubt that it is of any use against the dinos on the mountain (Rex, Carno, 4-8 Sabertooth at once...)
That would be the place where I needed it... or to troll my friends in the base :D
