Sure you should... but not im speaking of large drops im talking about the tiny drops that do alot of damage. Secondly where my base is located there is a 10 foot deep river below. Every time I jump I lose half my life which does not make sense because im falling into water, at only 20 feet high and I do that in real life... Rope swings into lakes and such well over 20 feet yeah it hurts if you fall wrong but we're suppose to be humans in a world with Dinos we have to be tougher and we're not
I dont go high, but i stay in the air a rather long time, and generally either break my legs or die in the process xD. No other stats in the game increase your chances to die as even half as much as mvm speed.
I have jumped from the upper limit of the map and survived multiple times.
At end game many stats are uncessary so mind wipe and allocate better rather than have stupidly high run speed or melee or have those stats but don't complain about fall dmg.
by your logic, at end game health is useles (yet you advice to spec in it? ) because we would be on a dino 24/7 and hence take no single damage from attacks at all UNLESS we somehow manage to anger a flock of dimos
unless you want him to spec health? just for the fall damage? better off with a archie (parachute dino) won't you think?
You are not on a dino 24/7. Caving, being off dino to harvest something and a wild you didnt see attacks, accidentally dismounting mid air (I know parachute but no need), accidentally falling off a cliff. Player attacking on PvP server. HP is a good buffer for accidents that would otherwise kill you.
Some other stats are absolutely useless end game.
how can you dismount by accident?
i use z for forward
i use s for backward
i use q for strafe left
i use d for strafe right
i switched mounting from e to o
even with a 7.4 earthquake that makes my hand move 10 centimeter, i still can't dismount by accident, yet for dismounting i only have to slide my hand.
if you keep your dismount next to your "move forward" button, then you are asking to fall off
when you have 1300 hours like me, or 1900 hours like you you should know the map by heart. falling of a cliff, shouldn't happen and if it does there is good ol trusted archie again..the re-usebale parachute.
caving,we do with 2 and we are allways on dino untill the end. i on my megaloceros to kill everything, my friend on his direwolf to eat every corpse. so no dismounting there (or it would be for the artifact)
