Ice Age Creatures
I know the dinos are supposed to be the "main" attraction of the game, but can we get some more Ice Age/Prehistoric mammals and other creatures?

Would be awesome to flush out the Dinos from the Northern areas and have them be populated by animals that would've not only surivived but thrived there.

A list of some that would be cool to see:
COELODONTA - The Woolie Rhino.
MEGATHERIUM
Arctodus simus - GIANT SHORT-FACED BEAR
GIANT SLOTHS - Megatherium americanum
GIANT BEAVER - Castoroides ohioensis (aren't they doing this one?)
Macrauchenia - Long Llama
Musk ox
Chalicothere
Penguin (aren't they doing a penguin?)
Eohippus
Narwhals (to populate the Northern Seas)
Crabs
Elephant seal
Chamitataxus
Axolotl

crabs and chalico don't have a dossier , but they are confirmed.

about the bear: how about no? it would be outcompeted by everything, a rex could chomp him dead in seconds, a pack of dire wolves could annihalate him in seconds too.
it would starve because every other predator wins from him. :/

the rhino: okay, fair enough, a weaker, woolly trike.

the penguins: we are getting 2: hesperornis (not a real penguin) and kairuku.

narwals still exist, so no. but other whales are good, like dorudon, livyatan, zygophyseter basilosaurus, and so on.

there were plenty of arctic or subarctic dinosaurs, like: cryolophosaurus, nanuqsaurus, troodon, albertosaurus, tyrannosaurus (lived in areas that sometimes got quite cold), some ankylosaurs lived in cold areas, but not arctic.
i could go on...

well, now you see many of them are either pointless or just not suited.

btw: I am all for ice age mammals, as long as they are unique and useful (and cool).

I don't see how any of the ones I mentioned "aren't suited." Pointless? It's a video game..... They can invent a purpose for them. They have tiny monkeys that are almost completely useless themselves for anything other than aesthetics so by that logic anything that is aesthetic has a point in this game.

The asthetics of adding animals suited for the Snow Biome is that it doesn't look so ridiculous having Raptors run around a tundra.
Honestly, I think most of this will be solved with patience. I'm frequently surprised by the animals the devs announce in dossiers; I believe I read that they are aiming for about a hundred species or so, which leaves about twenty left to be announced. We'll likely see a few that would be right at home in the colder climates.

Personally, I'd love to see an Aurochs! And less megafauna.

A few of the animals announced still exist or are closely related to animals that exist today, the eel and ray being the two I can think of off the top of my head. I get that the appeal of the game is running around on an island with prehistoric creatures, but a few modified versions of living animals wouldn't hurt anything.

Some of the modern animals have been around since prehistoric times, tough gene pools.

I've seen the Dossier page from the gamepedia and the ARK updates, I've seen a lot of dinos in the course of them revealing new creatures. Though I must admit I'm stoked for a giant squid.
