Ice Age Creatures

I know the dinos are supposed to be the "main" attraction of the game, but can we get some more Ice Age/Prehistoric mammals and other creatures?

Would be awesome to flush out the Dinos from the Northern areas and have them be populated by animals that would've not only surivived but thrived there.

A list of some that would be cool to see:
COELODONTA - The Woolie Rhino.
MEGATHERIUM
Arctodus simus - GIANT SHORT-FACED BEAR
GIANT SLOTHS - Megatherium americanum
GIANT BEAVER - Castoroides ohioensis (aren't they doing this one?)
Macrauchenia - Long Llama
Musk ox
Chalicothere
Penguin (aren't they doing a penguin?)
Eohippus
Narwhals (to populate the Northern Seas)
Crabs
Elephant seal
Chamitataxus
Axolotl

Like...?

Mammoths?
Wolves?
Sabers?
Megaloceros?

They already have a giant beaver in the works and a number of others, they have a list of predetermined creatures they are putting in and some they have added already were never on that list of 100

Would be cool if people put in a tiny amount of research for what is already being added before posting stuff like tis.

We are already getting penguin, crabs, megatherium, giant sloth and giant beaver. Not to mention other mammals/marsupials, such as the marsupial lion thing etc.

I do agree that variety in all shapes is awesome though.

Also, many of the animals are creatures that exist today, and not prehistoric animals.

That being said, I like the Eohippus suggestion and the Coelodonta. More rhinos and horses are always great!

I would also like to see the Aurochs!

If you guys would read the parts in parentheses I clearly stated that the beaver and penguin were ones I knew of.

Also having checked the Dossiers page from gamepedia I do not see the Chaliocthere, can you point it out where they "promised" it? I see the Megatherium but no Chaliocthere.

Also can't find any mention of crabs either.

Except they weren't, only 3 are mentioned in the dossiers that I can find.

If people would read the whole post they would see that I asked to clarify about the beaver and penguins. However I've seen ZERO mention of crabs making it into the game. The closest things we're getting are the trilobytes and Eurypterids. The Megatherium was one I had heard they were gonna take out, no mention of a replacement or Giant Sloth that I can find.

I would like to see a whale of some kind added, perhaps Basilosaurus. Could render the blubber into oil using a refining forge, and remove the oil-giving rocks from the snow biome to balance it out.

A whale, I hadnt thought of that. But it would awesome seeing as I feel the water is the least populated in terms of variety.

Except only 3 are being added from what I can tell, based on the dossiers and there are 15 things on the list, which means 1/5 of the things I mentioned are being added not 1/2. 2 of the 3 I specifically stated I believed they were already being added. How about next time you try to sound like a know-it-all you actually "know it all." ;)
