Can we Revert the swim-jumping "fix"????
I'm not sure the exact patch but around 219 or so, they changed swimming physics so that when you swim up to the surface of the water at high speed... you no longer jump out of the water, instead you just come to a very anti-climactic stop.

This is NOT the fun way. The fun way was flying up into the air like a crazy humanoid dolphin. That was FUN! you know, fun, like riding dinosaurs with rocket launchers fun.

And frankly, even though the jumping out of the water wasn't super realistic, the abrupt 'stop' at the surface of the water feels extremely awkward on a ragdoll physics level.

Also, in the same patch I think, players started doing a ridiculous little 'hop' if they went up out of the water by climbing a beach incline or going up a ramp. It's very time consuming when trying to ransport prime meat and such, and intensely annoying. I think it's part of the same simming physics fix, and both parts of it are highly unwelcome.

TL/DR: Scuba gear did not make me regret a high O2 stat at all, but the swimming physics change has taken much of the fun out of being aqua-girl :-(

There should at least be a small hop. So it's not an abrupt stop randomly

yeah, like half as much as there was before would be fine, but the sudden stop feels so wrong. and the 'stutter' when ramping out of water to walking feels broken as ****.

I guess this issue is not as pressing for those who are based inland, but if you're a sea-junkie or just live on the beach or even cross a river frequently, this swimming "fix" does far more bad than good.
