Passive tame, only, you need rotten meat, bug repellant and a lot of paitence.

Passive tame. If you use insect repellant they work the same way the ape does.

Excellent, thanks. for some reason ARK wiki said i have to tame with fresh meat

The wiki isn't wrong, you've just overlooked, that spoiled meat is in the first place of the list, it's followed by raw meat, so you can still use "fresh meat" to tame them, but they prefer spoiled meat.
