Snake venom... Seriously? can you screw us any worse?
Single snake bite and you're practically unconscious instantly. I managed to run about 10 ft before I went down and it finished me off. At least with a scorpion you have have a second to eat a stim berry. This is just stupid. I just started off and managed to kill an alpha and now my tools are gone. Not to mention the dinos that I had tamed that got knocked out and killed.

Yep its called Fortitude I have around 30 and can take a few snake hits!

When you're low level fortitude is a stat that has too little reward for the cost. Once you have some health, melee and damage then fortitude becomes a viable stat, but at low level it's mostly useless. It's hard to avoid getting hit by a snake when you don't know it's there.

If you are low level and you are in the swamp then you are already doing something wrong.

LOl sorry but your in the swamp or around it. I was warned on day 1 avoid snakes, scorpions hell avoid everything that could eat me, kill me or suck me dry till i was high enough or in a tribe to stay safe and even then no guarantee

This is a case in which more armor should actually help.
And have stimulants and water ready, just in case. ;)

do you really think snakes is hard to kill. simply run around them. hit their tail. done you done it.
you feel proud? i even did this with a normal spear didn't get hit once.

Yeah...when you are low level, avoid the swamp and caves...

34 and it's the same. It takes about 3 snakes to actually kill me.

I've been snake-bitten, but the rhymes keep hittin.

Stay off the ground in those areas unless you are into some Steve Irwin/Mick Dodge naturalist survival thing. In certain areas, you should always be on a mount, a saber, wolf, raptor or souped up phiomia (2000 health / 600+ melee), or Parasaur can keep the adventure fun for you when in those areas - especially a souped up parasaur since they don't slow down in water, have a great carry, etc.
