All those links are bad, so since I have no idea what it actually looks like, I would suggest playing with your resolution slider bar and see if that makes a difference. I had that happen once where it looked terrible, I relogged and it still looked terrible.

I tried changing resolution and other things, but what ended up helping was just moving the resolution slider a little. It was like the game thought it was all the way down when it was all the way up. So, try and move that and see what happens.

Thanks for your answer, i tried to move the Resolution scale bar, it's doesn't fix the bug, it just make the game looks even worse

And btw why do you say that the links are bad ? I don't see any problem with them, i can click on them and check what they are

This is what it says on all 3 links when I click on them:

Sorry!

The game looks worse when you move the resolution slider up? That's odd.

Finding the same textures issue and the link contents are not available.

it looks like Unreal Engine was not done loading texture. Unreal Engine loads texture slowly but it shouldn't take longer than a few seconds. Try waiting a few min.

I started this discussion as I entered the game, at this time it's still looking that way, it's been 45min

Hmm, have you tried using the reset resolution option when you launch the game and then putting your resolution back to where it was once you get in?

I would suggest updating gfs driver and maybe check your hard drive

I'll try both solutions and i'll keep you up with the result, thanks already

Check the hard drive? What does that even mean? Check it for what, do you mean do a scandisk?

I highly doubt this has anything to do with gfx drivers, or the hard drive. It's a setting that got messed up in the game somewhere.

If resetting the resolution doesn't work, I would suggest maybe renaming your gameusersettings.ini to gameusersettings.bak or something. Verify game cache and try again, maybe the ini got corrupted somehow or there's a jacked up setting in it causing problems.

It has nothing to do with resolution, the SS looks exactly like Unreal Engine is failing to load texture correctly.

I agree, clearly the textures aren't loading properly. OP even has that as the title of the thread, so, we all know that, thanks.

My question is, what do you mean by "check your hard drive" because that means nothing. OP also has over 150 hours playing ARK already, so you're thinking the hard drive went bad over night or the gfx drivers took a dump overnight?

While that's possible, it's quite unlikely and it's much, much more likely to be an issue with the game itself, not the OP's hardware. Meaning, a problem with an ini or something like that, not a bad hard drive.

We had an optimization update over night. It could've had conflict with older drivers. Checking hard drive as in check the hard drive usage, as Unreal Engine is clearly not loading texture from hard drive. If its 100%, then the game is trying to load, if its 0%, the game has stopped trying to load.
