It's hp was slowly dropping.
I need to give it more time myself when I'm next on. I sorely want a Spider because I have a feeling they'll be thrown back into their regular place in the caves after Halloween is over.
Wildcard have confirmed they will continue to be tameable afterwards but didn't say if they would still spawn surface side. Good luck taming one in a cave with all the other creatures there, and good luck getting it back out if you do!
On a side note, anyone found a saddle for one yet? If so, what source did you get it from?
you can learn the saddle
Thanks for the tip :)
yea sometimes the passive tames bugs out and wont eat, the spiders and bats will agroe on your tamed dinos so keep them far away.
Yes, it happen to me with gigantopithecus (in pen) and with mesopithecus (on a beach).
I think it's a bug, because it is almost impossible to tame one of these without scaring them.
Haven't had it attack any bits of my base, it did jump off the roof of my place but it just wandered around, only aggro'd on birds but after moving them it was stable.
Ended up dying though.
It was smart enough to not attack my Rex.
