take the saddle off, put in your inventory, then drag it on, cant add stuff if its already on

The same thing is happening to me on our server.. the slot for the costume is not there. I watches a youtube vid with costumes and the dinos those guys had had 2 slots.. 1 for saddle and one for costume.. but all of mine only have 1 slot.. and removing saddle and attempting to put costume does not work.

i dont think its only alpha dinos that have skeleton costumes, i killed one skeleton raptor and its name was alpha skeleton raptor, then found another and it was just a regular skeleton raptor by name , didnt get a costume from the reg though =(

also the ♥♥♥♥, ive killed a alpha skeleton carno and skeleton raptor and got no costume from either, if these things are soooo rare it should drop them if you find one

Some mod is interfering. These are not saddle mods, they are costume mods. Your dinos should have a Costume slot next to the Saddle slot in the top right part of its inventory.

They are definitely an uncommon drop on a rare dino. Hang in there, it's not as bad as it sounds and you have a whole week to collect them.

It needs to be on the costume slot, not saddle.
Alphas do drop the costumes. It took me 8 raptors until I got the costume. All carnos and Rexes gave me one.

i used kill all dino command, it forced a spawn with the new dinos, now they show up

You have to loot by hand, dinos just eat the whole thing down. Got a raptor alpha dead, other dinos also attack the rex I was on, when all was done, no corpse and no raptor costume. Can confirm Bronto, Trike and Stego costumes out there.
