Flowers in Swamp.

did anyone else know that you can find rare flowers in the swamp? i was traveling across the swamp in the east on a stego and as i was smacking trees out of my way i got 9 rare flowers by hitting purplish bushes? they arent plant species x plants either. i thought you could only get flowers from thoses red plants on mountains

I believe his is known by many who frequent these forums.

Edit; You can also get the rare mushrooms from trees in the swamps and species x seeds, but seems you know about species x.

A very good place to farm rare flowers is in the snow biome.

you can get mushrooms to thats cool. is it a certain tree or you need a special mount? my stego i was riding had over 1000 melee so i took the advantage with the flowers and collected the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. also ran into a few of the plant species x and got several stacks of those.

I think it is the cypress trees. Works best with a mamoth. Tribe member on a mamoth got much more than I did on a bronto but I got tons of flowers and seeds.

the black grass outside the swamp, 1 stego = 200 rare flowers per sweep ... thay arent rare anymore xD rare mushroom is about 1 mushroom per 3 trees.

I think you need the trees that have the spread out roots around the water for the shrooms, with a stego or trike there easy to farm and you get 100 quite rapidly. I think the rare flower drop is a bit to high in the swamp though compared to the shroom drops, but its nice to have place where its less tedious to farm em. I wonder how many stacks you can get there with a bronto, proll quite silly amounts xD

I do not not know what that small mountain in the south has other than metal and crystals. On the mountains look for small red plants. I think that is what they look like on mountains, know it when i see it.

yeah i looked up and it was already mentioned that you find mushrooms on cypress trees. i did notice a few mins ago when i got back on that i had a few on the steg. it wasnt as much as the flowers and plant x though. they should fix the amount you get though cause they cant call them rare if you get 28 or so from a lvl 197 steg from each hit. im proud of my girl!

Gonna have to try the mamo some time to see how the drop is on the shrooms then, but it felt a lot more rare doing it with trike. Had to clear half the swamp i was close to in terms of trees to get a full stack of it (not that it took long todo so with 1000% dmg lol).

These bushes give you rare flowers as well. I find them all over the beach and forest on the west coast just north of the swamp.

Actually just the shrubs that are there. I used to collect them with my mammoth when i was gathering Narcoberries with it.
