i don't mind lower or even default rates- but the taming is ridiculous. i don't have time to sit at my PC for 7 hours while something tames just because i prefer to play alone.
Well a computer is different then your living room tv haha.
I figured that would be the case, was just not sure.
Exactly why i play modded servers...
Unfortionalely we won't be able to convince everyone that there is no single way how this game is 'meant to be played'. Nor that something taking a long time is not equal to that something being difficult or chalanging (in contrast to being tedious).
My SP game runs with difficulty 50+ (vastly increased max levels for dinos) and taming at 40x. Most of my Narcotics go into the Arrows to actually KO things, but that's the part of taming that's fun to me. I usually drop things I want to tame at the vulcano, so it doesen't even matter how long it takes. Nothing spawns up there, and throwing in some narcotics from time to time woulden't change anything either.
Am, I cheating because of that? I don't think so. I just put my focus towards the things I find interesting (currently, this would be finding and taming a low level Quetzal, as the high level ones usually donm't survive my attempts to KO them with my Scorpion).
