Quetzals: Does it bother anyone else...

Does it bother anyone else that people pronounce it "kwetzal"? It sounds like that they're trying to say something stupid like Wet Pretzel or something.

It's a mayan [Edit: nvm it's an Aztec] word .. and the written form is spanish-derived. It's pronounced "Ketzal".

I would say its safe to say this is enough referencing.

Pronounce it how you want, just know that some credible sources may prove you wrong. Understand if someone pronounces it wrong they probably don't give a ♥♥♥♥ so either tell them to research it for themselves or just stfu and accept it then move on with your life. No need to make a post about it for people like me to voluntarily waste our time and attempt to educate those that don't or won't care.

This is exactly what I did with my Argy that I pumped movement speed on. It wasn't hard at all, just took a while.
Come to think of it, using a Pachy instead of a scorpion might also work.

Sorry, but if the majority pronounces it that way, then you are the one who sounds ridiculous. Language also evolves to whatever the majority decides to use.
