How do u use the note to record tame stats? (paste)
Hi, I saw on a guide on youtube ages ago someone who used the note to record the stats after taming a dino, he said u can just copy paste the stats rather than typing it all out... anyone know how it is done? i am not sure how to copy it as i cant highlight the field over the stats when inside the dino inventory
Cheers

NO idea but I prefer to just name the DINO with the relevant high stat for breeding.

So like 'Atillia the Rex' Lv120 Hp 9000

The HIGH stat is like the only thing that really matters on a breeding tame unless there are 2 high stats.
ahh ok that is one idea, but doesnt show all the stats...the guy on youtube did it in three seconds and leaves the note in each of his dinos inventory
another "i don't know", i'm afraid, BUT i can see one way around it;
hit F12 to screenshot your new tame's stats, SHIFT-TAB, go to screenshots, upload and then copy the URL. SHIFT-TAB back in the game and paste the URL into the note.
it's clunky but it'd work :/
oh, if you DO find the video again, can you post the link please, i'd like to know too :)

nah he did it in game...and just copied the text and pasted the text
I think the way it would work is by making a screnshot (or write it on a piece of paper) of your tame`s stats then writing it down in a notepad file. Higlight all of it and use Control+C to copy and then when you are in the note just use Control+V to paste it.

Make a note and edit it with the dinos inventory open so you can see the stats. Type what you see. If you can't see the stats then write it in a sheet of paper then type in the note.
how many dinos are you taming that doing it in 3 seconds vs 30 is important?

That is what i do myself but the issue with this is that teh note closes after like 20 or 30 seconds by itself. It would be nice if it would stay open till you clicked the save button or whatever you have to click to close it.

^ This is the only way I can think of to 'copy and paste' though it'll still take longer than 10 seconds or more to type.. or perhaps have a form in a text file ready(something like HP: DMG: STAM: WEIGHT: SPD:) all the time and just type in the number and copy paste when it's done, that should take closer to 5 seconds or so.
Use notepad then copy and paste from there.

True enough but there is no evidence that this thing you speak of exists in any form at all except in your memory of a video you may or may not have seen that you haven't provided a link for.

But all these helpful people have tried to offer you tangible real world workable solutions. SO kudos to them :)
how is that comment i quoted helping me??..., grats on making the second stupid post irrelevent to the thead...

Yea i think it was this, he had a proforma setout on a notepad then hit paste then just added the numbers to make it real quick, was ages ago when I saw it and wasn`t sure. If anyone has some troll spray plz give salymctroll a quick blast
