Titanoboa defense
I'm living with my tribe in a small base in the swamp: plenty of food and resources, but unfortunately also plenty of titanoboas. Usually it takes only a single bite to get tranquilised, even if you run the beast will hunt you down to finish you off, after which getting back to your body without running into the same snake becomes a real challenge.

I was wondering if anyone had any tips concerning facing these creatures. The outer wall of our base is completely surrounded by a ring of spike walls, but titanboas seem to be able to penetrate them without getting any real damage, unless actively agitated by a player. Maybe put some small dots with 2-4 spike walls on strategic spots in the swamp?

use actual walls, spikes do nothing to wild dinos

Titanboas can go through spike walls, fence walls and base walls. One did this to my base, killed me while i was offline and destroyed 4 cabinets. This was on official pve server 31.

at least 2 high walls with a cat walk or roof to make a lip so the boas cannot climb it. Keep simulants or stimberries in your hotbar to avoid being ko'd by them, but really the best defense is to get a good mount, and only go on foot if you know the area is definitely clear, a sarco or even a decent frog makes short work of snakes, let alone anything bigger.

You need more fortitude.

It seems like if your walls are 3 walls high the titanoboas don't invade. Another trick is to use bows, just backpedal and give it a couple of headshots.

stimberries will save your life. And Titanboa's are really very weak. Just a couple of crossbow bolt's between the eyes will kill them. Low level ones will die with just one shot
