Quetzal flying off on its own.
so i have a couple quetzals and while raiding a base the other night with a Balista on the back of one shooting at gates. it starts moving on its own and flys straight ahead into the tree line. then it just vanishes and drops me to the ground.... use the other quetzal in the air to try and follow it... cant find it anywhere and we search the whole map. so just messing around to see if i can get it to happen again. we tame a lvl 4 quetzal and just leave it floating in air... and it does the same thing... starts to fly off on its own and vanishes as it hits a tree... neither quetzal was on wonder. or on follow with anyone... has anyone else seen this.. i find it strange since a couple weeks ago we tamed a lvl 116 and left it floating in base while 1 farmed up the platform saddle mats and it stayed for a couple hours roughly 3 hours while mats were getting farmed. idk if this is jsut a new bugg that came recently or not. just want to hear others thoughts.

They normally only fly away and land if you get off of them. I wonder if there is a bug that makes the Q think you have hopped of when you get into the Balista. Though, I have not seen the same behavior with the minigun on a Q, but have not tried it out recently.

With some testing I've worked out it only seems to happen to saddled Quetzals. For the life of me I can't get an I saddled Quetzal to land even when I want to!

Yet saddled Quetzals have this undeniable desire to land when no one is in control, even though their wild brethren never land on their own. Makes for some pretty frustrating situations.

..that's ..that's just too high for me , just sayin'.

It seems pretty consistent with the odd occasion when it doesn't do it. I always find it with 30-50 metres of where I got off it. The only time it doesn't do it is very rarely at base.

Not sure if bug or feature but I have got so good at finding it now. Its not really an issue.

well truth be told. we were raiding a chinese farming tribe that raids the smaller tribes in our server. and when they were asked by they raided an ally of ours they gave the answer of: We want build there. so we raided them.

put them on passive or have them follow you while on ur back, they stay still - i have 2 quetz 1 with both platform, normal saddle - i have them on passive so if i get attacked they wont charge in *if its a giga* jump and fly off - aswell as they dont go to land when im camping in the air

they are always flying off, I have one on neutral and one of passive and they both are found randomly around the map

Bumping a topic from 2015...

Because frankly I knew wildcard dont really give two ♥♥♥♥♥...but 20 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 15 and its still not fixed?

The tribes Quetz now has a mind of its own and wont stop moving by itself, even when mounted.
