Oviraptor
How does the egg collecting mechanism work? I Placed one in our Dodo pen and set him on roam. After a twelve hour period he has collected exactly zero eggs. He is running around the pen, the Dodos are laying eggs, and he runs right over them without picking them up.

I believe right now he only collects wild dino eggs.

The Mechanics are still fuggy but that's to be expected.

If he only collects wild dino eggs then it is a pointless mechanic.

Yes the Ovi is useless
cant pick up your eggs and eggboost does not work...

The Oviraptor also needs to be set to follow to pick up eggs to, not wander.

Probably the worst implementation of a Dino yet... Either totally misleading dossier, or completely failed implementation that doesn't meet the expectation set by the dossier.

And IF they read this forum or Reddit, they KNOW we have been anxiously waiting for it, and expecting it to pick eggs from our tamed Dinos... Why allow that speculation and building expectations if that was never intended?

Lets hope the Ovi will get a little more love in the future and they'll eventually gather tamed dino eggs for us.

I've heard reports of the Oviraptor picking up one egg at a time if it is set to FOLLOW one of your tames. ..

That's because the Ovi needs to be set to follow to collect eggs.

So it will only collect the eggs of the dino that it is following?

2 days with absolutely nothing from the devs. Why is it so hard for them to say "Oh, you do X and it does Y" Or "It's not fully working correctly"
