Anyone with younger kids playing?

I have a 10 and 7 year old who are having a blast with this game. They love taming little dinos and building houses and running from everything else. I am thinking of renting them a private server since the official servers are a bit rough for them. I was wondering if anyone else has some smaller kids that play. Maybe in the future if I do rent a server, they could build up on opposite sides of the island and have little tribal wars.

I'm in a similar boat with my two guys, 9 and 11. Currently playing on an Australian server which seems friendly enough, but I'm waiting for that day we log on and find their little base in ruins and their beloved dinos gone. I'm looking for a kid-friendly Aussie server, PvE, I guess.

My 2 little sisters 9 and 10 play on our full on adult server that i run but i wouldnt mind having them play somewhere else with people their own age. I just dont know what they prefer.

I got a private server up and going with very young audience too. Mostly are 6-14 from fan base of a Youtube'r friends and various facebook page we admin'ed. We encourage all members to join the main admin tribe, but they are also welcome to create their own.

We have many 'airport' set up around the island with beds, basic supplies and flying dinos so anyone is welcome to use them to fast-travel, craft items, or transport. We have a main city surrounding the Hidden Lake with a village atmosphere completed with shops, crafting area, banking, shooting range, taming zone, hangout spots, and much more.

We occasionally host a World Tour where we would invite members to travel with us as we record the tour and posted it on Youtube. :D

Sounds like a good server, what is the info on your server? gather rates, tame speeds etc. all of that stuff

I would not let my kids play video game now days especially in Ark ......from what I've noticed gaming community got more and more stupid with time with a lot of no life ♥♥♥♥♥ that play video games not for it content but for the sake of humiliating other and making them fell better about them self ...

Best way to get the best expiriance and most funn out of ARK it to NOT play on official servers !
Keep it with private ones, less trolls and players that have zero tolerance for others.
Its a good idea for your kids hope it works out for your kids, good luck

At this point in time my 7yr old boy only plays on single player, but a kids only server would be nice to try out

As long as adults are there to watch them play, like at their house. My clan is 25+ only but for this game the divsion has made an excption and allows people to put their kids or other young family memembers on the registry with them as their sponsor/gaurdian so we know who to talk to if they start getting crazy lol. But yeah one fo the more intrestin guys who like to mess with people and test you basicly, show you how vunrable you are then tell you what you did wrong he has his 7 year old daughter and his son not sure how old living with him at his base.

Was funny though for a while after that war drum was put out all his son did was sit at his base playng it over and over, pointed out it was just as bad as if some one got him a real drum set since every day he played with him he had to hear that not only on the pc next to him since his kids have to game near him so he can supervise them, but when ever he is in he base he gets it in a doubled up effect lol

My wife and i run a private pve server. Our kids and some of their friends play on it regularly. My wife and i also spend a lot of time on there. We make sure things stay friendly. If you guys are interested in joining let me know.

I have a private server for my kid and her friend - us parents can jump on too and provide them some support and advice too. Works really well and they love it and we're happy because they are safe from trolls or worse. When it only costs about £8/mth with survivalservers.com, it's well worth it :)
