Where does one find Oviraptors? Are they aggressive? Would they cause problems if I were to take one and fly it back to my base for a safer tame?

As far as I can tell they can spawn everywhere where dilos spawn. They usually run around (pretty fast), and can be picked up by an argentavis to be brought to your base.
They only eat eggs, the bigger the eggs the more taming progress they give. With dodo eggs you will need hundreds (lvl 12 ate over 200 dodo eggs and was about halfway through) or even thousands to tame a high level.

Stego and bronto eggs seem to be the reasonable eggs that have no especially high endgame value (yet) and give good progress.
Its not worth it with rex/bronto/spino/quetz eggs. It doesnt lower tame time much and most ovi's food stat is too low to entirely starve tame. So using just a ton of dodo eggs is best. Unless you have ridiculous amounts of rex/bronto/spino/quetz and you dont care. Otherwise dodo eggs will tame nearly as fast. *shrug*

Thank you for the response. Just hopped into game a few minutes ago and I'm very excited to tame an Oviraptor. Still looking for one, got distracted by a carno I absolutely had to have...

I'll take your advice to heart. Appreciate the help :)

they are not aggressive, they run like parasaurs (and even before being attacked)
