Fanmade Dossier: Majungasaurus

Out of all the carnivorous animals I have seen on this island, from the pack-hunting Utahraptor to the might of the Giganotosaurus and Tyrannosaurus, none can quite compare to the Majungasaurus in diversity of diet. Slate grey and mottled with mossy greens and dark reds, I have observed this midsize solitary theropod devour anything from live prey to insects to fallen fruit to young individuals of its own kind, unhinging its jaws like a snake to eat items as large as its head and bringing down large prey with toxic saliva similar to that of a Komodo dragon. Even when sated (Truly a rare occurrence!), the animal keeps eating, storing excess food in a pelican-like throat pouch to save for later consumption. They are also incredibly brash-several tribes have reported lone Jungas challenge fully-grown tyrannosaurs many times larger then them, with predictable results. I am convinced that their ability to stomach almost anything and their septic bite, as well as the stench that follows them everywhere, is the only reason that these creatures have managed to survive.

Domesticated
While many tribes refuse to domesticate Majungasaurus on account of their stench, I have found that they make quite capable mounts; feeding one is certainly not a challenge! Their septic bite makes them valuable for weakening large creatures, and their throat pouch allows them to carry much more than would be expected of an animal its size, but one of their greatest attributes is their ability to sniff out carrion and eggs and bring them back to their master. However, this skill has its drawbacks: animals are often none too happy about their kills and/or young being stolen; more than one tribe has told me stories of tamed Majungasaurus returning to base with angry carnivores on their tails!

*: Besides the standard commands, a Majungasaurus would have two additional order options: Retrieve Carrion and Retrieve Eggs. Upon receiving the order, the dinosaur would then set out towards any eggs or dead animals in a midsized radius around it, taking the eggs and meat and bringing them back to whoever tamed it or whichever tribe member is closest.
Note: Yeah, yeah, I know that Komodo dragons have venom, but the toxic saliva was the best comparison I could think of.

So here's my second dossier: Majungasaurus! Seeing that these guys were known cannibals, I figured that they wouldn't be too picky about eating whatever else they could find. Plus, out of all the animals Ark has right now, none of them fill the niche of a scavenger, so I had a spot for this guy already made.
