Using cheat setplayerpos
I know about the page at: http://jdimensional.com/ark-map/ to locate where I want to go on the map. The problem I had was I didn't change the last set of coordinates. It dropped me from too high and I immediately died. I also lost all of my armor and weapons which I had just remade after the last fiasco with teleporting because where I thought I wanted to go wasn't right and I couldn't find my body. I'm guessing I need to change 0 to negative something. Any suggestions? I'm just trying to land on flat ground no mountains. It's fine if I'm riding a flyer or using my raft, but it killed me and I'm afraid that it will kill any smaller dino I may be riding if I use it as well. I'm playing single player.

I always have the last one as a 0 and then when it drops me there i immediately do 'fly', then 'walk' and as i approach the ground change back to 'fly'.

If you turn on god mode before you teleport then it doesn't matter how far you fall. Then you can just turn it off when you're done.

Also, the last number is going to be negative if you're at anywhere near sea level and not somewhere elevated. So, say you're teleporting to a beach type area (at least elevation wise), if you throw a -14 for the last number, there's a really good chance you'll be real close to the ground.

But, it's easier to just turn on god mode or fly before you teleport.

There is a way not to use good mode, and have the 3 value, just type: "ShowMyAdminManager".
It will give you X Y Z value for coordinates. In my single game had the same problem when i tested "setplayerpos" command.

Yes i forgot if you use fly before transport you will still be flying when you transport. I learned this the other day.

just a tip, use fly if your going to teleport, some parts of the map are higher than 0, the case of the whiskey peak or radient or whatever its called and the volcano you will be under the game world.

I turned on god mode and also changed the last coordinates to -14. I have plenty of male scorpions. I wasn't afraid to lose one so I teleported on its back to my other base. It didn't kill him but it sure came close. I think -14 is actually higher than 0. I'm not sure and don't want to kill any of my pets so I'll try it again later solo to experiment.

P.S. Is there a way to turn off God mode?
