ark on steam machine ?
Is ark able to be played on a steam machine ? since I am unable to ru it on my laptop I was wondering if it was able to on steam machine

Yeah it'll play fine on Steam Machine. Not sure how good support is for the Steam Controller is though.

The SteamOS/Linux Version still runs super bad if you instal windows 10 on your Steam machine it should be fine.

I have an alienware alpha. It's great when playing Ark and other early access games, but if I wanted to play name brand games I'd have to beef that ♥♥♥♥ up.

so between the Alienware Steam Machine and the Syber Steam Machine which one would be the better choice to buy

It runs just fine in Ubuntu. It does have visual glitches though.

Also, steam controller works fine as well. :P

What you don't want dragon:
Syber Steam Machine I. Not enough Vram and Ram and only a dual core processor.
Alienware Steam Machine - Lowest Tier. Not enough Vram and Ram and only a dual core processor.

Fine on what serttings? I tried running it on mint and I had to make to look like minecraft to make it well over 30FPS. Man I really hope vulcan saves us all :angry_creep:

I run the game fine on medium settings under Arch Linux. My box is a first gen Alienware X51 with a GTX 660 card. Just be sure to get 8 gigs of ram and a decent CPU and the game will be okay.
