Can't make mud or slate dye
Tried everything, specific requirements per each one. It sits there and nothing is created in the cooking pot. These dyes both use sparkpowder and won't create, I made dyes using charcoal and gunpowder and worked fine.

Anyone else have this, anyone willing to test? Not spawn it in, actually craft the dye in the cooking pot. Because I can't seem to produce these days regardless of what wiki says, and no other reports. (yet?)

Reason I ask is because the server i am on is modded so i need to know if the mods are causing this issue or if its a game issue thats is affecting everyone.

No, I tried both thatch and wood (in the 1st slot) and removed the charcoal when one was created, with thatch obviously it doesn't interfere so i always use that as my cooking pot fuel.

Put thatch in, sparkpowder , put EXACT amounts of the berry in
if you put two whole stacks the'yll cook individually. It's a pain in the ass so I don't use these colours much only for importing paintings. Make sure you put a full water source in too :p

Yep done all of that. Pretty much done everything anyone can think of before posting. Although keep posting ideas if you think it'll help, thanks.

Can anyone test this on a vanilla server? Even my single player is modded so i cant test there with proper results.

P.S I really did try everything before this post. Alas I'm hoping in some weird way it's a mod thats causing it, so i can tell the owner to remove it or something.

Would probably help if you told us what mods you were using.

It'd be easier to list the mods the server isn't running, lol. I can't list them as i have no clue of their names specifically. Hence why I asked if anyone was willing to test this on a vanilla setup to see if it's an issue with the game or with a mod.

I made brown and silver dyes just fine, with silver using gunpowder.

NEVER put more than 1 water in your pot or it will make other colors =)

I only put one in, I've done everything that is obvious to you guys as it is to me. I'm looking for some help with either testing this.

If not then meh, who cares about someone who can't make a dye in an alpha game? Dunno what i was thinking posting this. Unsubbing from notifications, dont worry guys. Ty anyway.
