How to optimize your Ark Decidated Server

Hey folks,

I would like to collect all settings, hints, and tricks that help to improve the performance of private/inofficial dedicated Ark servers.

FACTS:
- Of course, the server hardware (CPU, RAM, disk speed) should be sized accordingly to the max amount of players.
- Your internet connection has to be fast enough. Also, you should disable other downloads during gameplay.

QUESTIONS:
With some server tools (e.g. Ark Server Manager), you can configure numerous settings such as "disable anti-cheat" and so on. Is there anybody who used this setting and experienced reduced lags and/or rubberbanding? Or does this not have any effect for the clients?

Rubberbanding is caused by the servers saving and it's like that in every server, The more "Stuff"(Aka structures, tamed dinos, etc) You have, the worse it is. Enabling structure decay can help with that somewhat..
