Exactly How to Tame the Compy

Hey I know I had a bit of trouble, but this is how you tame them!

Hm. I just kited a pack of them to my base into a separate pen, closed the door and gone for prime hunting. After that i was able to tame them all together :D

or just use a few tranq arrows -_-

you need prime if that helps

Yeah. The good Point is that you just need one arrow with Xbow e.a. to knock them out. tamed some 100ish, pretty easy if you have the prime ready.

But I find them kinda... useless?

Cute is enough, along with the fact is a favorite animal for many people. Is that not enough for use?

I think the biggest thing when 1st taming them is the shock of how fast their torpor really lowers.

Cute is enough, along with the fact is a favorite animal for many people. Is that not enough for use?

Thats the reason i tamed an army... sry, a gang of them.

They now call themselfes the "Arkwood Gangsters" and i carry their leader on my shoulder :)

True. First time i HAD Prime Meat and Narcos... but did not mind that they could have THAT fast Torpor decrease

I keep hearing about how they only eat Raw Prime, but I tamed 4 last night right after they came out and I definitely used regular Raw Meat.

I know I didn't use Prime, because I was on foot and naked.

They can be really hard to find. Not sure if it is because they are soo small or that they are uncommon. They will also fight large dinos making them despawn quicker.
