Could use metal behemoth gates if you've got the spare resources, I know thats expensive, and herd it into there with bait of some kind to hold it still while you shoot it with tranqs. But it won't be able to destroy the metal gates.

As for narcotics... considering it'll wake up in about 2 to 3 minutes left unattended, you better make sure you have EVERYTHING there before you start tranqing it. Even at level 1 though, you're gonna want at least 2500 narcotics to be safe, thats bare minimum, if you're using regular meat. It likes Quetzal egg kibble if you have that, then you'll only need about 400 narcotics... oh and you're gonna want at least one hundred raw meat if you're going that route. thats at level one. It goes up from there. At level 120... you're looking at 500 raw meat, and 38,000 narcotics. Less narcotics if you use prime or kibble obviously. But you won't be able to leave its side to gather prime once you knock it out, it'll wake up too quick.

i have 4 questal eggs i dont think thats enough

I'm taming my second one. I just use primes because I don't have enough quetz eggs to make enough kibble. I stuck both of mine near a cliff side, stood on my quetzal, and shot at them from relative safety. My level 52 (tamed out at 77) took 500ish narc arrows. The one I'm taming now (10, hopefully taming out at 14) took less than 200 narc arrows. Maybe around 120 ish.

Eheh... no. A level 1 giganoto needs at least 13 quetzal egg kibble... thats at level one... 120? 57 quetzal egg kibble... and considering how rare those creatures are...

yeah.

You can prime farm it solo if kibble is out of reach, let the torpor drop then spam a stack of narcotics on it, will buy you around 8-10 mins to go farm.

Depends on the level of the Giga you're taming. Careful with this. Someone flamed me on another thread about this, saying I was spreading "false information".

All Giganotos have high torpor, you could do it easy with any level, hell you could probably spam 2 stacks on a level 4, but I'd do the math before you attempt it.

Step one. Farm narcotics until your fingers bleed.
Step two. Farm prime and cook it.
Step three.. find giganoto.. and don't get eaten by it. You can stand on a cliff and shoot it, stand above it on a mtn, which is probably easiest way.

Step four. Very important. As soon as it drops throw 200 or so narco on it and remote use them.
Step five. Load in the cooked primes.
Step six. Never close the inventory. Monitor it 100%, keep torpor above 95% the entire tame. Don't worry about wasting narcs. When the torpor stops going up, it goes down insanely fast, like thousands of points in moments kinda fast.

Step seven. Tame and tow it down mtn to your base. Do not put a saddle on it and ride it down a mtn.. if it stubs it's toes.. it'll likely rage and eat you.
me and my arge were already eaten by one when the peguins came out
