Script for Auto-Updating Mods on a Game Server?

Background: I'm renting and testing out a game server from Streamline-Servers. That is, ARKRemote, steam cmd, Steam, and the game's pre-installed on the server already, and I'm not yet certain of what my limits/powers are in uploading any new programs to the server. I seem to be able to at least add/edit files that can be edited with a text editor.
I have about 5 mods installed/activated and have not found clear instructions or a guide in using scripts on a server to help automaticall update mods and restart the server to allow people to connect.

Questions -

1) I understand how to manually update the server mods and server using Ark Server Manager (ASM). Is there a way the program can let me plug in a script to add to the server to auto-update mods?

2) I've found a simple steamcmd command to auto-update mods (i.e. the one in this comment on this one forum thread). I'm not familiar with using steamcmd. Where would I input a command like that for steamcmd to run it?
And with my limited control over editing files in my server, how can I input a script somewhere to automate that command to run every X hours a day?

3) Is there any other question I should ask/research to help me auto-update mods on my server?

Theres an auto-update mods ? From that post, i understand that the steamcmd will auto run at a certain timing, updating if there are updated.

Have you tried contacting streamline support? im using streamline and having an automated mods updating tool would be a great help.

Iam going to ask the obvious question did you ask Streamline servers these questions?

Beacuse if any of them are possible iam pretty sure they will give you a more direct answer. The CS is from my experance pretty spot on ive never waited more than an hour for a response, and normall time is about 30mins even when ive asked a question out of there normall working hours.
