Does anyone have experience with the remote keypad? how does it work? and can you control doors from a distance with it?

No, you need to have it mounted on the wall, it works quite well, once you get around how it works, exmaple if you set all your lights to a pin of 1111 and you enter it on the keypad, it will turn on or off all the lights set to that pin, same goes for doors, if you set them to all 2222 it will open and close all the doors with that code. we used it more for lights then doors.

you can control anything that requires a pin code, windows, trapdoors, lights, storage chest, literally everything. if you set seperate pincodes you can control them all differently (example exterior and interior lights) all same pin code - all on/off, two sets of code 1on/1off etc...

you can set the code from one base to turn on the lights on/off too another base.. etc, even if they use seperate generators as long as they are set to the same pin codes...

Each remote keypanel must be powered as all electronics to a junction box, there is a distance involved but i have yet too discover how far that is. so otherside of waterfalls as an example is fine, but top of the island to the bottom of the island is too far..

i have also yet too discover that if you setup enough remote keypads along the island if the range becomes infinite since each distance is being transmitted across them all, of course this also means your having generators in some places maybe just to power a panel alone.

if i ever find the max range will try to remember to update this post for you...

I also know that if your admin, then pressing f/e keys bypasses the need to use panels in order to operate the coded items (ie doors) also i am going too assume that tribe goverance set to tribe pin codes will have the same effect.
