Alpha Carno can tame?

Hi as the title I would like to know if someone managed to tame a Carno (obviously without using commands from admin).
I tried with two bows, crossbow and a rifle using the darts new, but in all cases the Carno dies

Can't tame alphas

You can't tame Alphas - they're not meant to be tamed. Admins can forcetame them using Admin commands, but that's about it. I've never gone out of my way to tranq an Alpha...maybe one day, when I feel as though I have nothing else left to do in ARK, I'll go tranq an Alpha Rex...

We had one trapped at the base of a waterfall and spent a few mins peppering it with tranq arrows; It eventually died .. real slow like : from the arrow damage. So. I'd say nope - can't be tammed.
