So I am trying to like paint just one color on a dino I have example being I have this dino who is green and black, I wanna paint just the green parts. Is there an option in the painting I am missing that allows you to paint on entire color shade at once?

Nope. The painting of dino's needs to be changed to be able to dye the entire dino 1 base color, and also individual pixel painting. The current system doesn't allow for accuracy.

yeah they need to fix the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ spray gun, a guy made a post about it in september got now traction. He points out that with the admin tools an admin can DO this painting for you. So why the paint gun doesnt get the options for dinos and building is just dumb. obviously they want dinos to be spawned different ways but What IM asking for is painting like normal, so black skin wont make a big change when painted say orange. Like with paint brush. The admin tools will TOTALLY change the dinos color to whatever. Example is you will get a true RED not red over a green or white/black skin.

War paint is meant to be different from permanent skin colour changes though. It's temporary (or semipermanent) and easy to remove or change in one swipe, plus you don't have to be an admin. While it might be nice to add warpaint to the same zones used in the admin recolour code, it should still be an overlay that doesn't alter the base color. Maybe that could be a separate option for nonadmin users later (then again, the need for customisable server moderator roles with access to only chosen admin commands is a whole different issue).

But it definitely needs to be more accurate. I should be able to paint rex teeth and nails one colour, tongue a second and face a third without them overwriting each other like a toddler colouring outside the lines. Or leaving me with random green patches from the belly on the outside of the pink thighs when I paint my tribemate's rex to look like Barney. *whistles innocently*

Was just about to make a post about the spray gun. Normal dino painting just doesn't work so well. Atm I'm admin painting but trading in a dye per region. Would love for the spray gun to be fixed.
