Mosasaurus Location?

Where do these bad boys spawn at if theres any true area? ive only partially looked once in the northern water while farming oil, but id love to find one. if you have seen or tamed one can you tell me where you found em at?

and if youve legit tamed one, how did you do it? did you have a buddy stand on the back of a plesio platform and just pump it with tranqs? or use a raft? or what? id love to see some creative ideas

tbh, i used the wiki to find the damn things, they r rare, but not like quetzal rare. plus if u have suba gear and googles u can see them from pretty far. The best way i think is to use the plesi method, basically going to a certain point, shoot arrows, let it agro, go up a bit and repeat. they dont like going above a certain point, so it makes tranqing them easy, the main issue is definatly keeping them under, unless u have kibble or plan to use prime, prepare for ALOT of narcos to be used, the things lose 11 or so topor a second

I took my megalodon down deep. found one built a 2x2x2 structure. shot the mosasaur, then hid inside my little building as it failed to hit me. used my megalodon to get prime, and just pumped it with narcotics while i fetched more prime.

Though mind you this is on a server with boosted tame speeds which were set at 20x. Still needed to pump it with narcotics otherwise it would wake up about halfway through the tame.

Found mine near the NE island, with 4 plesio near by :P

I found a couple in the southern part of the ocean. Mostly around Cragg's Island.

not just north, I tamed mine at southeast island cave and saw 5+ other mesos there
