Breeding needs / time / AC temperatures
So i was thinking about the breeding thing for a while, and i think that:
1.It should take longer, maibe up to a week for a rex, and like half aday for dodos
2.The need for food of the baby should be nerfed acording to the time it takes, its good if it takes the same amount (even 3-4 troughs full if you only want that) but over a long time
3.The ,,pregnancy cooldown,, should be bumped up, ALOT! A female rex should only be able to lay eggs like once every two weeks or more cuz then everybody is not gonna go ham with em anymore :P
4.Adjustable AC target temperatures! that is a reaaal need for breeding atm, i might be wrong but im pretty sure some dino eggs dont like the AC default temperature, so thatd be usefull!

Feel free to leave some more suggestions in the down there :)

I only agree with your #4. While this is still just a game, I agree that like our home air conditioning, we should be able to adjust the target room ambient temperature on our in-game air conditioning units as well.

Perhaps an "AC Control box" or something like that. Much like they keypads for doors. Seems workable and might fit into the current game environment without too much trouble.

Some servers do not NOT have AC ability. So tying hatching to having that would not work.

I agree with everything!!! that's exactly what im going to do on our private server with the configs...

#4 Adjustable AC temperatures would be good, i'd also like Eggs to have a temperature reading on them - currently I live on the edge of the snow biome, my rooms go from +34 to -14 in 2-3 steps so judging what temperature the egg is in can be a nightmare.

AC just making insulation :)

not cold and not hot

i used 11 ACs to breed 3 rex eggs as well

with insulation 1.5K near eggs)))

ACs are working as intended, stack enough of them and you dont have to worry about temperature at all.

I adore the baby bringing up. The temp can be a pain. On primative servers should have something too or those who don't wish to clutter their incubation buildings with a few ACs.

Maybe a nest that regulates temps, like if it gets too hot place some water to moisten the egg, too cold add a fireplace near said nest.. There should be options for tempatures when trying to incubate eggs...

<.< Raised chickens and sold them about 25 years ago.. hatched eggs from incubators..:P

guys i did mess up with the AC, appparently it doesnt change the temp, it gives every entity around 100+ insulation both hypo and hype

Hold up wait a minute.

You had a different thread going that was saying how pointless Breeding was and why would anybody bother.

http://steamcommunity.com/app/346110/discussions/0/483367798508395086/

On that thread many people explained breeding and the process, showing you how it worked. They even explained how AC worked to you.

Now you are making a post saying that Breeding is too strong and should be nerfed?

This person is a troll people nothing to see here.

omg dude, im not a troll, im serious, and i posted that thread before breeding was changed, and im not saying that breeding is too strong but a baby shouldnt go thru 100 Trexes worth of meat in basicly 5 minutes, and it shouldnt grow so fast either. if they change it a little, its gonna make more sense and be a little easyer and less stressfull to accomplish. I mean, not everybody has 8 hours every day worth of free time to hatch a freaking Rex baby...

Before you post things, try doing them or reading about them.

They fixed them eating to much 2 days ago.

If you have not done something you should not try and change stuff. 2 opposite posts about something you don't know anything about.

Wait... so you haven't even tried breeding yet but you're asking for all these changes?
