A Tamed Rex would attack and kill a baby dino that hasn't been imprinted on?
What about on PvE servers?
I don't know about PvE but every tamed dino you set to aggressive should attack every wild dino it sees. As long as you haven't imprinted on the babies they will be counted as wild dinos. If on PvE your rex attacks wild dinos if you set him to aggressive, he should get the job done. And I'm just saying rex because in my experience he's one of the best prime meat farmers. You could also have them drop into the water through a hatchframe ontop of a plesio but that would probably complicate matters. Remember, you'd still have to be there to take the prime meat out of the dino!
This would make the structure design a lot simpler, and even semi automate the process which would be a huge bonus.
The Rex is a good idea because of the reach it has as well as AoE attack, not to mention a high damage one would allow for even larger prime harvests.
You're welcome, I hope it works!
It seems when they die they clip into the ground so you have to pick them up once and drop them again. Then it should work fine. They give me about 2 prime, same as every other baby.
