Egg incubating in the snow biome..
So am I pretty much boned on the whole mating thing since I live in the snow biome? I tried to hatch a raptor egg. I put it between 5 campfires and an industrial grill, and it still died from the cold.

Is it possible to move the egg "inside" so you get the house buff?

Yep, just pick up like any other egg and then drop it inside.

Standing torches supposedly provide better heat. Might be worth trying those instead. Also, Anky eggs prefer it cooler, you you have an advantage there- 13 C and 21 C are the lower and upper limits for an egg indoors, it seems.

Moving the egg in helps slightly, but not a lot it seems.

you need climatisers/heaters inside your house drop your egg in front of it and it will hatch

What do you mean ? Every one based in the snow biome need an A/C.

Someone can confirm the A/C effect on the Egg in snow biome ? i'm not very sure of that.

We are in the snow biome and it takes about 12 a/c units to get so that you don't need to watch the eggs.

I live in snow biome. And egg hatching is quite easy. I have 4 ac with 6 camp fires ( i had to improvise with them) and trike eggs. Rex eggs and raptor eggs didnt took any damage. Indoors of curse. Stone tier insulation. I get up to 1100 insulation from the cold if i stay near the ac's (sorry for my bad english, didnt maxed it)

We live in the Snow biome too and i can highly recommend the underwatercaves for 99% of the incubation process with 8-10 AC's. Underwatercave temp drops to 2°C and is at 24 at its max.
For the last 1% we bring them were we ant them and they havent lost any health at that time.
