What stairs go 2 walls high?

Have a stone foundation, then 2 stone walls on top of the foundation.

How do I get to the second floor?

No ladder and hole inside the house. Want Stairs.

I would settle for a ladder outside the house but no matter what I try I can not get the second ladder to place above the first one. This works on the inside of the house but not the outside.

it should work with ladders, i do it all the time both inside a structure and outside them. I can even place ladders on top of ladders whilst climbing up and down them.

Move camera around. At some angles the ladders will snap properly to allow you to place them above the existing one.

It is frustrating and timeconsuming at first, but easy to use later.

Against the wall outside? Where you can outside I wonder if you can on the inside in the same spot. Maybe we have the walls opposite.

sometimes a item will snap in a location in first person view, but not the third person view...

This pisses me off when it comes to placing pillars. all lined up click to place, places pillar somewhere else. hate how you have to move around until the games places it where you want to place ad not where it wants to place it.

That did it, had to go off at an extreme angle then it worked. Before it would be green like I could place it then when I clicked the mouse the ladder disappeared and went back into my inventory.

If its Stone, remove the ceiling, place the Ladder, place another ceiling

You should really start posting suggestions in a better place, there are so many nasty posts that i would not be surprised if devs just scroll right on past things in the general section. However, the reason the Workshop is open for this game is to provide people with mods that do what they are looking for. I highly suggest using Stairs Mod (that elijahwan just posted) and searching through the other mods to help you get what you are looking for.

I subscribed to that mod. Do not know how to get stairs to connect together to go up from the ground to the top of 2 walls on top of a foundation.

I still have to try the remove the ceiling first and see if I can go from the top down with the stairs when the ceiling is not attached.
