i am playing in singleplayer mode, and suddenly a trex spawned near my base...
it killed me. but whenever i die, it just waits for me to spawn again for a nice feast.....how can i get rid of him? (impossible to kill as a low level)
i tried to lure him away, but hes too fast killing me, and then stands to near to my base again....

Single player? Try spawning somewhere else and then working towards kiting him away

This.

I also suggest dropping a sleeping bag and a chest with weapons/armor away from your base for this very reason.

forcetame and then kill it

T-Rexes are pretty slow, you should be able to run away from it on foot. Just make it follow you, run and don't stop. Then aggro swap it onto a stego/trike/bronto.

use the water as your help too.
have you a bow? Just kite him to a rock and spam arrows.

Easy way to resolve this problem as long as you don't mind using the cheat method.

When you respawn, if you have enough time, do this:

Press Tab
Type in: cheat playersonly

That will freeze everything except for you.

Then go up close to the T-Rex, then press tab again, and type:

cheat destroymytarget

Then poof, the T-Rex is gone.

Then hit tab again, then type:

cheat playersonly

And tada everything is moving again and there is no T-Rex.

Guess he wants to get rid of it legally, not cheating. If you are gonna solve all the problems cheating, the game will have no interest at all. Try learning how to play instead of cheating, you will like it better.

Get it stuck on rocks and trees while running away.

nope. if you're low level, don't kite it on foot they are faster than you think John Marston:
I use my raft to stand on with my bow (they are terrible swimmers).
you can lure it with a faster creature, like a speed-trained parasaur or an utahraptor, (use raptor)
lure it on a big rock, run around it, stand on top and start firing, if it gets on the rock, then sit on raptor and lure him even farther awat, just until he is very far from your base.
now you must run back on the raptor, but be careful, don't aggro him again

Its actually a very good time for you too get a huge dino, if its really really close to where you spawn everytime...

just run up and punch the dam thing as many times as you can before it kills you, spawn, repeat, keep going until its down...

If your really low it may be hard too tame, but its possible, then you will have a monster trex at a crappy level and thats worth having following you around and set on attack your target at a low level.

As long as your spawning close, it will go down sooner or later... becuase it wont gen enough health fast enough, just dont give it a break... everytime you die run back and give it another slap lmao

I love high level rex spawn in my spawn location right now myself lmao

TIPs:
if you have x360 pad connected, but using keyboard/mouse unplug the pad coz the vibrations on your desk when dying that many times is annoying

to get meat for it, use spear can kill almost any dino trapped on a tree without getting hit, can kill turltes on the move without taking hits, and of course dilos and dodos easy too

if you can lead it too trees and get the dam thing to get stuck on one, then you can get more whacks on it by approaching it from the rear
