!!!Raft Rubberbanding!!!
I cannot move 2 feet without being pushed back 5. Please fix this issue. I know a few others who are having the same problem.

This happenes because you have colliding structures going through the raft. I garauntee you have a piller or something sticking out of the bottom that collides on terrain, same issue I have with mounting up underneath a rex... it's not laggy rubber banding it's the client and server having an argument over where you actually are.
There's no way this is possible though. I built a new raft with nothing on it and put it in the middle of the ocean, and it still does it.

Devs need to work on some kind of safeguard. I'm on a server with ~83 ping which shouldn't be terrible, but my raft likes to shimmy left, then right, and bounce up and down due to the waves, which usually results in me being shoved into the water beneath it (unless I'm Driving.)
I usually always log in dead, if I log off on it too. I just wanted a houseboat for the swamp. :(

There's no way I'll be trying to keep a tamed dino on it, when it can't even keep me alive. And no, I don't have anything sticking out the bottom of it causing collision issues, it's floating just fine in deep-ish water.

I'm literally watching my boat hop up and down by about a foot, as if it's got freaking hydraulics. Devs pls

And if that's not enough, my boat's "floating height" on the water has permanently sunk to be lower than it was. I had a deck with a ceiling floor right above the water, which now seems permanently submerged, due to this rubberbanding up/down ocean lag.

Ugh me too, 8 months later and still happening....

Well, sounds like it's been longer than 8 months later now. Goin on a year. I can't get anywhere on my raft. It seems to jump with the exact pattern of my dino's tail wagging back and forth. Every time it reaches mid swing, it's like inertia jerks the raft around. I even tried to put him on storage boxes so his tail was definitely not glitching through the bottom of the raft on stuff. Didn't help

HA! After reading back my own observations, I figured it out!

Well, it works for me anyhow. It WAS the dino's tail interacting with the boat. I turned his butt off the front of the raft and it stopped completely.

Well,..that wasn't quite perfect, because he swings toward the raft and misses most rocks if his tail faces the front.

So, I repositioned him sideways off the front corner. This seems to get most of the rocks. Still not perfect, but a big improvement. And NO rubber banding.

FYI, I also learned the dino will no longer collect when he is above a certain weight limit. Seems like that limit should be increased closer to full, because he still had a ways to go.

Tell the devs I figured it out for them, they can relax now!

Found a fix that worked for me.
tried all the above.
Planted a sleeping bag somewhere close by and fast traveled to it from my raftboard bed.
After that the stuttering was gone.
