Mosasaurus and Megalodon...
So, everybody knows that nothing is safe from the megalodons in the ocean, not even the plesiosaur, which is far more powerful than the megalodon.
The mosasaur is gonna be the largest predator of the game (50 feet long), and probably the more powerful one.
So I hope the mosasaur is not gonna be a prey for the freaking sharks...
Please let me be safe on the ocean Dev's!

I guess naturally Megalodons simply dont attack mosas. But tamed creatures (despite beeing more powerful) look like candys for wild dinos :D
Nothing is safe in the ocean, thats what makes deep sea diving so extremely tense!
Lost my Sarco last week because I got surrounded my megas and couldnt move :0 Rip Steve

In the dossier, it's written than Plesios are preys for Megalodons, so I don't complain. But a freaking Mosasaur, even a tamed one, should not be a prey for anything in the ocean. I mean, just like you a lot of my water creatures get killed by megalodons, and after all the loss I think we deserve to be safe in the ocean.

well if they balance them right, mosas wont be a prey. But since megalodons attack everything, better build a pen for it.

Well if the Mega was it's true size then anything would be pray lol

I'd understand it if they hunted in groups but there has been plenty of times i've gone down to the beach (no pen yet) and found my Mega now holds hordes of meat which i didn't give it, or i see it having a scrap with just 1 other Mega lol

NICE! Can't say i've seen that myself up until now but it's good to know. If that is more common than i've currently seen then sure i'm happy for the odd Mosa to get munched, but on the whole they shouldn't be threatened by anything in the sea except us players going for them enmass!

I think it was just a coincidence that 4 sharks were in aggro range of the one turtle and all headed for it at the same time, still looked pretty neat to watch and we can only assume it would happen again in a similar scenario.

Having Ocean animals on follow is out of the option since there are invisible walls everywhere underwater. You would spend 95% of yer time unstucking animals. Only way to be in the Ocean atm is with 1 powerful animal. Personally i prefer one of my plesios. 20k health and alot of damage, it can take on a school of megalodons and still laugh :P

Invisible walls are fixed this patch, they will follow now.

Not sure how you think Megladons are stronger then Plesios. My 60k health and 1k melee Plesio owns the ocean.

Wild Plesios are stronger then wild megladons as well.

Killed 2 x lvl 100+ plesis with 5 sub-100 turtles. Left the megas back at base. What did I do wrong?

dude, we're talking about tamed dinos, not the wild ones. I've killed hundreds of megalos with my plesio too! Plesios have a lot more Hp than Megalos, and base damage of 75 (the highest currently in the game) , and the megalo have only 40 of base damage
JasonB Oct 2, 2015 @ 6:15am
You know, why don't Megaldons attack anything in the wild? I've never seen them attack a Wild Itchy...
