Pteranodon not Taming

I'm not sure if this was a bug, but I managed to knock out a pteranodon inside my base. No matter how many times I fed it, the taming bar wouldn't go up. The only thing I can think of is that I had ran away from three dimorphodon and shut the gate on them though they were still trying to get in. The combat music was playing, so maybe the game wouldn't allow me to tame while I was supposedly fighting? Not sure, but I ended up killing the pterandon since I was wasting all my meat.

Were you force-feeding it or waiting for it to eat manually?

If you force feed it, the taming bar doesnt go up. You have to sit and wait for it to eat on its own when it's missing 50 hunger

Pteranodon dont eat at 50 hunger, its 70 or 80, cant remember which

How long it waits to eat is based on what you are feedin it.. raw meat 50 food.. kibble 80 food
