Snow Biome Issue
It should be cold as death kill you in minutes if you are nekked. I can run nekked around the winter wonderland for a long time before I even notice the health decrease. I know I"m on a PvE server, but still.

The temps change. Running around naked at 0c is much different that at -18c. Go spend a night on the mountain next to the obelisk naked and report back.

I get that, but running around at naked 0c should still kill you in less than an hour. I don't care how tough you are, the human body can't do that.

Are you on a private server? If you are then someone have done some changes in the INI file.
Also what level are you and how much fortitude do you have?

I didn't say you could run around naked at 0c without taking health damage. I have no idea how much fort you have or what server settings you play at. Most people would still take health damage at 0c. My point was unless you report what temp you are running around naked at, as well as what server you play on, the settings, your fortitude, etc, etc, calling out that the biome isn't deadly enough is a moot point.

stop running. your body produces more heat when you are moving. just lay down and wait 'till you freeze :)

Not a private server, it's official. I'm level 75 and I've put maybe 2 points into fortitude. Maybe.

So what was the temp during your experiment? Time of day? Raining? Snowing?

It does. You can't.

Let's say it's 0c. In the winter areas it's snowing. Noon.

How exactly does fortitude work ? does it just stop you loosing health in heat / cold conidtions ?

Where do you live IRL? The human body can do amazing things. 0C/32F won't kill you for awhile if you are able to shiver/move about. You may not even drop your core temp below 95 in the first hour. After that it would take you hours to freeze to death if the temp was right at freezing.

And don't forget that every humans are different, some peoples can deal with cold area better than others.
Vendetta Oct 1, 2015 @ 10:20am
Its colder than any other place on the map and it does affect your health sooner than any other place on the map. Reality ends where the game begins. The terms are contradictory and it doesn't matter what the human body can or cant do. In the game I can carry more food to regain my hp than any temp extreme can take away. Can't do that in reality either. Game mechanics are what they are.

Naked and with 2 points in fort, you will slowly die.
