Epicgames Mods

Hey guys!
My friend made an server with mods. So I installed the TEK Client that i can also use them because I play on Epicgames. But now the server isnt showing up for me at the server list?
Is it even possible to play with mods and the TEK Launcher?

No idea about the TEK Launcher, but epic cannot play with mods I know that much.

However the server not showing up can be worked around fairly easy. Just add the server you are trying to join to your steam server favorites. It will then show up in game under your favorites tab.

If the server still doesn't show up, it means you either can't play with mods, the server isn't port forwarded correctly, the firewall of the host is blocking connections, or the server version and client version are not updated to the latest build.

I think that the mods are the problem, because my friends on steam can join the server. I hope they patch this really soon, because i would love to play with mods

Unfortunately there is nothing to patch. This isn't a bug but rather an intended feature. They are however working on adding mod support, you can read about it here -

Unfortunately I think there isnt a solution other than buying the game on steam or waiting for epicgames to add this new feature. Anyways thanks for your help!

Correct. Epic players cannot play on modded content servers. Only steam players. There is no firm eta when modded content is actually going to come to epic for ark players so if you are truly intent on playing such, you'll need to get the game on steam. Just wait until ark is on sale if you can.

It will never happen. Buy the game in a Steam sale.
